Halfway through I couldn’t decide whether Lost in Translation was pretentiously pandering to potential Oscar wins, or unravelling a story that puts the troubles of our time into a spotlight. Not exactly along the same lines but reminded me of Red Dust that showed similar corruption and cover-up.
