I was browsing and found a link to a native Linux Google Earth beta. Even though it does look ever-so-slightly like a bastardised Wine version, it works fine! It even adds a little Google Earth icon to your menu.
So the burning question: wherefore art thou Biddle?
I can’t really get any closer than that, I live a little way into the mainland. Some trivia about Lowestoft is that it is the most easterly town in England. So if we ever had any sun we’d get it first.

On the “England” shot you can see the lilac dividing lines separating us from Scotland and Wales.
I guess we look like a big shoe, or kangaroo.

haha, you’re right, you can see the dividing line… that’s so cool. You guys look more like a discombobulated kangaroo than anything else. ^_~

so thhats what lowestoft looks like from above…
we get the first rain too sometimes, you can stand on the beach and see this massive bank of clouds heading your way; “oh crap…”
